The Former Huxley Methodist Chapel and Graveyard

We should like to inform residents of Huxley and families who have loved-ones buried at Huxley Chapel that work is expected to begin in mid-April to stabilise the wall between the graveyard and the adjacent Laurel Bank property.

There are no graves in the area of the proposed work and it will be fenced off from the nearest burials. The contractor is fully aware of the need to cause as little disturbance as possible to the graveyard as a whole. Any vehicles and heavy equipment required for the work will be parked on the former wild-flower meadow area at the western end of the property, well clear of any burials.

Access for anyone wishing to tend a grave will continue to be available during the work.
